Get your English Course in Dublin funded by Erasmus+

Sharing is caring!

EU citizens can get funding to attend an English course in Dublin with the Erasmus+ Programme. Erasmus+ is designed to equip people with skills needed for personal and professional development. Organisations must be accredited to offer courses that are in line with the programme criteria.

Speaking English enables individuals to work and travel around the world, develop friendships and participate in society as well as enjoy entertainment and easily communicate.

Erasmus+ Courses at EC Dublin start every Monday and are available all year. We also have various accommodation options. You can live with a local family with breakfast or breakfast and dinner prepared for you and your own or a shared bathroom.

If you prefer more independence, you can choose to live at The LIV, in the Smithfield area of the city which has a gym, a cinema room and events area and has many cafes and shops and services close by. You will have a single room with a double bed, your own bathroom and communal food preparation area in purpose built shared accommodation with other students.

Regarding learning English, you will take a pre-arrival test online and choose the course that bests suits your needs. On the Erasmus+ programme, we offer:

  • General English: 20 lessons per week (15 hours)
  • Intensive English: 30 lessons per week (22.5 hours)

You will study with students from around the world, not just from Europe. We have an average of 8 students per class, so you get lots of attention from teachers and will make good progress in a short time, if you attend your lessons, work hard, and do your assignments too.

Our Dublin English school is in a prime location on the south side of Dublin, and is close to many historical sites including Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Temple Bar and is located close to the Portobello area.

EC Dublin offers free activities like our welcome tour on Mondays where we walk around St Stephen’s Green and the famous Grafton Street shopping area. We also have a schedule of workshops that cover pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar and a fun, varied social and cultural programme, where you speak in English to students at other levels in real life scenarios.
