Hey there everyone!
Now we’re starting our second week here at EC Brighton. This week we especially look forward to meet all of the new students and watch the football game between the students and the staff in the evening of Tuesday 15th Jan (see reception for more information).
Some of the highlights of our first week here was when we walked along the beach, went to the pier and visited some of the pubs here in Brighton. The beach and the pier is something we really recommend because it’s a very beautiful sea view. Something we have noticed is that it’s a different pub culture here compared to Sweden. In our country there are not many pubs at all, it’s more like coffee shops or nightclubs. Here it’s a pub in every corner and we think it’s a really good place to hang out and meet some friends.
EC gives you a great opportunity to study abroad, meet people from all around the world, meeting different students have given us so much knowledge about different cultures and countries which is great fun!

“You can find me at the reception, I get to welcome new students and deal with the course evaluations the students have to fill. I also make sure we get important info about our students and let the hem know about all the activities the school arrange for them.
“It is important to make sure that every student gets the best experience possible here at EC. ”

“I’m at the Academic office here at EC. The important thing here is to make sure that the students enter the right course for them. The students come to us if they have any questions about their education here. I also put the scores of all the tests into the system and preparing school material for the new students. I hope you will enjoy your time at EC as much as I do!”
Have a good week!
Cheers
Emilia and Vera
