Do you know the story of Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer?

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say:

"Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history!

And do you know the famous song of the Snowman? Learn the lyrics and after that it will be your turn to sing.

We're walking in the air

We're floating in the moonlit sky

The people far below are sleeping as we fly

I'm holding very tight

I'm riding in the midnight blue

I'm finding I can fly so high above with you

On across the world

The villages go by like dreams

The rivers and the hills the forests and the streams

Children gaze open mouthed taken by surprise

Nobody down below believes their eyes

We're surfing in the air

We're swimming in the frozen sky

We're drifting over icy mountains floating by.

Suddenly swooping low on an ocean deep

Rousing up a mighty monster from his sleep

We're walking in the air,

We're dancing in the midnight sky

And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly.

It’s Friday and today it's the launch of a new activity: VOLLEYBALL. Go and try to beat your friends at the game. Which team will be the best?

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court. It has been a part of the official programme of the Summer Olympic Games since 1964.

Today there is also an Art Gallery visit and we have chosen to go to SPIKE ISLAND, the weather is not as lovely as we expected but the visit is just AWESOME. It’s well worth it!

Spike Island is an international centre for the development of contemporary art and design. A vibrant hub for production, presentation and debate, it invites audiences to engage directly with creative practices through participation and discussion.

Tonight it's PUB NIGHT. Where? Sublime; 1 minute away from the school. Luke will be taking over from our EC Activity Leader Ash for one night only, his mobile phone number is 07811975275. Go and enjoy a couple of nice pints!

Whether you are going on the BBC Bristol Tour or the Bath trip organised by EC Bristol or doing something on your own…

Have a great weekend!

Thanks from EC Bristol Team
