Bianca Brodbeck is a student from Germany who came to learn English in Canada.
Here is what she would like to share about her English course at EC Montreal:
I chose Montreal because I wanted to study both English and French. However, I focused on English because I could change my level and improve my capabilities in the advanced class. Outside school, I spent time with my friends from Mexico and Switzerland. Moreover, I kept in touch with some French and Japanese guys who already left Montreal.
My favorite EC activity was the “Welcome Pizza” in my second week. It was a great opportunity to get to know other students. Besides studying, I got to know other cultures. In my morning class, for example, we were 3 Christians and 2 Muslims. It was interesting to compare how different our lifestyles were. I liked the fact that no one judged anyone else for his origin or religion. Some of my stereotypes are replaced by the knowledge of other cultures.
