Currently, mobile applications are making our life easier. Here in Vancouver, they are useful as well. When it comes to public transportation, Transit app (Apple Store / Google Play) is the most popular. You can use it to find the next bus, or to find out how you can get to any place around the city. However, if you are a little bit anxious and can’t wait for the bus, you can use the Radar app (Apple Store) to track the exact location of your next bus. Just in case you don’t have data on your phone and can’t connect to a Wi-Fi network – which is pretty rare in Vancouver, you can use the Metro CA app (Apple Store) and take advantage of the offline maps for Canada Line, Expo Line, Millennium Line and the 97 or 99 B-Line bus. If you’re just lazy or in a rush, just open the Yellow Cab app (Apple Store / Google Play) and get a taxi, anytime, anywhere.
Whether you use apps or not, walking around and discovering the city is always a good idea!
